The Highlands Ability Battery measures natural abilities: the cognitive strengths a person is born with. Developed by The Highlands Company, it is used by career consultants, universities, and organizations worldwide. Unlike interest inventories or personality tests, the Highlands uses timed exercises to measure actual performance across nineteen areas, including memory, reasoning, and verbal ability. Strong Jr. in 1927, it has been continuously refined over nearly a century of research and is now published by The Myers-Briggs Company.
